I just got these images in a forward and it kinda reminded me how delicious mooncake is. For those that don’t know what the mooncake festival is - its a popular asian celebration in autumn where you eat all kinds of mooncake!! Seriously, they never had this many types til now….I’ve only tried like 3 flavours!! But yeah. If you ever get the chance to eat these, go for it. The traditional ones have red bean/lotus, some have watermelon seeds and some even have a whole egg yolk in the center(don’t let that put you off xD) but theres like chocolate and green tea now….They’re delicious!!! Most of them are sweet, but I think some can be savoury…with like ham and red bean or something. I dunno. They come up with the weirdest flavours. But hey.
